|BINGO Volunteers Wanted|
|Posted on Oct 8th, 2018 Comments (0)
ATTENTION ANYONE WILLING TO SERVE ON OUR BINGO COMMITTEE
After working very hard for many years, our Bingo Committee has decided that they are stepping away and will no longer manage the games. Therefore the Board must find other volunteers to continue the Monday night Bingo Games.
As a result the Board will be creating a new Bingo Committee and is seeking resident volunteers who would like to join and serve on the committee. The Bingo season generally runs from early October until around the first of April. However the season is flexible and depends upon how many committee members are available and how many residents are attending the games.
Committee members must be willing to dedicate themselves to working every Monday night between the hours of 6 PM and 10 PM. However, if enough volunteers step forward, there may be some flexibility to allow for time away from the committee if necessary. Keep in mind that anyone who works on the Committee cannot play Bingo at the same time.
A short training session about the operation of the Bingo machine and the TV’s will be provided to all committee members before Bingo is launched, but our goal is to get started as soon as enough people volunteer and can manage the games. We have many residents who love the games and are eagerly awaiting a new committee and the start up of the games.
If you have any interest, please stop by and sign the Interest Sheet on the bulletin board in the clubhouse or contact the Manager so we can bring Bingo back to Deer Hollow!
